Dear Participating Lenders,

The Washington State Housing Finance Commission applied to become an approved seller servicer with Freddie Mac and is working on applications with Fannie Mae, and Ginnie Mae. The goal is to enhance the Program Loan delivery model and to best support the efficiency and viability of the Commission’s programs.

In order to make this shift from a master serviced-model to a sub-serviced-model through Idaho Housing & Finance Association, Participating Lenders must execute the attached Amendment to the Mortgage Origination Agreement by September 8, 2025.

The Commission will continue to retain Idaho Housing & Finance Association as sub-servicer who will purchase, pool, and service Program Loans.  Changes to delivery instructions, including new endorsements and the Commission’s MERS number, will be forthcoming.

Required Document:
• First Amendment to the Mortgage Origination Agreement.

Next Steps:
• Please review and sign the required document by September 8, 2025.  Signed document may be emailed to Corinna Obar.

• Additional detailed instructions on which program, key dates and expectations will be forthcoming prior to launch.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Lisa DeBrock or Corinna Obar.

Thank you for your immediate attention.
