One of the most common questions I hear from first time buyers is, “How much money do I really need saved for a down payment and closing costs?” It’s a fair question and often a question that discourages qualified homebuyers from buying a home. The Commission’s down payment assistance programs are great tools my team uses to combat common misconceptions around upfront costs when purchasing a home. By helping people understand how The Commission’s programs work, I’m often able to show them a realistic path to homeownership sooner than expected while keeping their out-of-pocket costs lower than they first thought. I’ve been in the mortgage industry for over 25 years, and what I continue to enjoy most is helping people take that first step towards homeownership with confidence. My role is to listen to your goals, explain your financing options clearly, and help you understand what’s required and what isn’t. I’m fortunate to work alongside a diverse, down-to-earth team that shares the same commitment I do making the home buying process feel approachable and well-supported from start to finish. Please call or text me at 425-652-3333 or email teamlyon@guildmortgage.net. MLO #275494

* number of WSHFC Loans in the last quarter
How are these featured lenders chosen?
This page highlights the loan officers with the most closed and purchased WSHFC loans. The regional lists are updated each quarter to show the top five loan closers in that area. The minimum is two loans; if there’s a tie for fifth place, more than five are listed. The statewide list is updated only once a year, with the top 10 loan closers across the state in the previous year.
