Become a Homebuyer Class Instructor!

Guidelines for Marketing Your Class
Please follow these guidelines when marketing your homebuyer education classes:
- After the first reference to the Washington State Housing Finance Commission, please identify us as “the Commission,” rather than “WSHFC.”
- Describe yourself as “Commission-trained” and your class as “Commission-sponsored.” Avoid the phrase “Commission-certified.”
- We write “homebuyer” and “downpayment” as one word; you can use your organization’s preferred style.
- You can use the Homebuyer Education icon (see Instruction Materials) with the following disclaimer: Disclaimer: The sponsorship by the Commission of a homebuyer education seminar does not endorse a person, business practice, product or service other than those of the Commission.
- We are happy to review your materials. Please email Kathleen.Komin@wshfc.org.
