Dear Lenders,
While we continue to close out the loans in the Emphasys system and working concurrently with Lender Portal, we will continue to email the file contact(s) with file updates.
As we continue to get familiar with the new lender reservation portal (Lender Portal) we would like to bring your attention to the Communications tab in the system.
Tips for checking the Communication center in Lender Portal:
- Create a Filter- in the “Applications” section of your pipeline, towards the top of the page (next to the search box) select “Filter”.
- Under “Columns” select “Communications”, under “Filter” select “Is” and under “Value” select “True”.
- These steps will filter your whole pipeline for new unread communication from Commission staff.
- Once you have created the filter, you can select “Save Filters as a Group” so you can use it over and over without having to recreate it.
Pipeline Notification – in the “Applications” section of your pipeline, you can add a column that will indicate you have new unread communications by selecting the “Columns” options at the time of your Applications screen and clicking the box next to “Communications”.
You may also move the location of the Communication column by selecting “Columns” and using the hamburger menu (3 horizontal lines) to move the column to the front to make it easier to see when viewing the whole pipeline.
Please note, if you submit a partial package, we will “reject” the partial submission and notify you in the Communication tab of what is missing. We will not send an email for incomplete files. Communication will solely take place in Lender Portal for incomplete submissions.
