April 17, 2026
Dear Lending Partners:
Please read in its entirety.
Please make sure you have followed Commission policy for homebuyer education and fully executed contract prior to reservation of funds. Covenant funds reserved on or before April 17 not according to Commission policy will not be honored.
New Covenant Process Starts Monday!!!
Also Coming Monday: New Loan Reservation System!
What’s changing on Monday:
- New loan reservation system: As of Monday, all new loan reservations must be made in the new system. You’ll get the link and your new username by Monday morning.
- New process for Covenant loans: Covenant DPA loans on or after Monday April 20 must follow the pre-reservation process – no exceptions. Learn more here.
What’s NOT changing:
- No change to other processes and forms such as reservation changes, rate-lock extensions, change of employment, etc.
- Lender Online will still be accessible for loans reserved prior to 4/20.
What do I need to do?
Watch for an email with your username for the new loan system. By Monday morning you will get an email with the subject line: “You’ve been invited to the DPA Lender Portal.”
- Follow the instructions to log in and set up your password.
- Take a look at the Lender Portal training slides here, under Other Lender Resources if you missed the training.
- The how-to video if you missed the trainings on the new loan reservation system, will be posted to the website at a later date.
For Covenant loans, be prepared for the new pre-reservation process. Read the announcement, FAQs and how-tos here.
- Don’t send Covenant family history documents to homedocs@wshfc.org – follow the new pre-reservation process. You can find Covenant Pre-reservation Process Instructions here, under Downpayment Assistance Programs – Covenant DPA.
The Home Advantage, House Key and Covenant DPA manuals and Eligibility checklist will be updated shortly.
Thanks for your patience and resilience during this transition!
